Interscholastic sports provide an opportunity to develop skills and attitudes in our students, regarding competition, winning, losing, leadership, and cooperative effort, that witness their faith as disciples of Christ. Interscholastic sports also provide opportunities for students to develop God-given talents.
Our sports programs emphasize skills development and teamwork. Our policy encourages participation by not limiting team sizes, and by granting all players a meaningful opportunity to play in all contests. Competition and winning are secondary to participation and teamwork. Click here to view our rules of conduct for sports.
We offer four competitive interscholastic sports: slowpitch softball, basketball, volleyball, and track and field. Both are offered for boys and girls separately. Please click on the follwing links to learn more about each of our sports programs:
PLEASE NOTE: Schedules for each sport are listed on the page for that sport.
We belong to a league of area WELS day schools, named http://LALSAC, the La Crosse Area Lutheran Schools Athletic Conference.
Thanks for looking at the First Lutheran School Athletics page! If you have any questions about our sports philosophy, or schedules you can contact our school athletic director at firstname.lastname@example.org, or this school at web mail. lacrosse.org
