Our congregation is a fellowship of believers who are concerned for every other member of our church. We are concerned with their earthly needs and problems. Most of all, we are concerned with their spiritual needs. We have three pastors on call or on duty at all times. There are activities for members of all ages. One of our biggest advantages is our school which features small classes with spiritual and academic training and a committed Christian staff to help you raise your children in the fear of the Lord. We thank God for the blessings of our school and our children.
"O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endures forever." Psalms 107:1
- God is three persons in one: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- The Bible is God's Word, written through human writers who were inspired by God.
- Sin exists in every person It is the cause of the bad things people do to each other.
- Everyone will have existence after death either in heaven or hell - forever.
- God's will is that all people be saved.
Want To Know More?
You will find explanations in "This We Believe", a statement of Belief of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. It is available in English, German, Spanish, Norwegian, and Portuguese.
Our beliefs are outlined in detail, and just as important, why we believe it. We hope you will take the time to explore our faith. We would welcome any questions you might have.

Then Jesus declared, " I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." JOHN 6:35
The word "Cross" comes from the Roman word "Crux" which means to reach a central or dividing point. Our Lord reached it for us, and we will all reach it, if not now, then at sometime in the future. While others may help you with worldly problems, Jesus is the answer to all of your problems.
When You Need Help
God has promised us that whatever cross or burden we encounter will not be too heavy for us to bear. It's amazing how many blessings God sends to us (that some call coincidence) when we pray from the heart and trust in him for all things..
Many Christians carry a small round coin in their pocket with an imprint of a cross inscribed as follows:
"I carry this cross in my pocket reminding no one but me, that Jesus Christ is Lord of my life, if only I'll let Him be."
Let Jesus Christ be the Lord of your life!
It's difficult to learn to trust God when we have earthly problems and troubles. We want tangible, physical help NOW! God will always do what is best for us. He has told us this, and He never lies. You are welcome to call our pastors (or other WELS pastors if outside the La Crosse area) for help with either worldly or spiritual problems. We will always do what we can to assist you.
I Don't Have To Go To Church
(I Can Believe In God Without Going To Church!)
Sure you can, but do you? Church fulfills a need we all have to be with God and to be with other people who love Him as we do.
Look at it this way. You visit your friends at their homes, God is your friend, so why wouldn't you visit Him at his house? Your church is the house of the Lord.
There's another more important reason. Even if you read your Bible at home, there's something different about hearing the word of God in church. Add in the music, the organ, the people singing, and it lets you know that there's hope for our world, and for all of our children. We need a bit of recharging. We need to reorder our priorities in life. Church helps us do that. It's a vacation from the secular world. It helps us to remember that we can be "in the world" without being "of the world".
Do something nice for yourself!
Go to church with your family this week.
